£3,000 Compensation Paid To Driver Who Was In A Two Car Collision

A 57 year old driver from Accrington was injured whilst driving her car in Tring, Hertfordshire.  She was driving along Watery Lane and was approaching a sharp right hand bend.  Without warning, a car that was driving in the opposite direction failed to negotiate the bend and lost control, causing the two cars to collide.  As a result of the car accident she suffered a whiplash injury to her neck, as well as right sided headaches and dizziness.

She approached John Bennett who agreed to take the case on a ‘No Win No Fee’ basis.  He secured an admission of fault from the driver of the other vehicle by contacting her insurers.  Mr Bennett then referred his client to an independent medical expert to have her injuries assessed.  It was confirmed that she had suffered from whiplash to her neck and that the headaches and dizziness were due to the whiplash injury.  It was estimated that she would be fully recovered from the injury within 10 months of the accident.

Based on this prognosis, Mr Bennett settled his client’s claim for £3,000.  She was able to enjoy the full award as Mr Bennett’s legal fees were paid by the other side thanks to the ‘No Win No Fee’ agreement.
